Due to take delivery of new Senator Wyoming, just wondered if anyone had any comments - good or bad! about your experience with this van. Also interested in which towcar is used.

Thanks

Hi Trudy, we collected our new Wyoming on 20th May, very impressed with the value for money, our initial thoughts having had 1 weekend away in it are

The water pump is noisy as others have said, but not unbearable,

There are no drawers other than the cutlery drawer

There are 18 downlighters plus the 2 mains lights at the front, but there is a dark spot by the wardrobe could do with another light

The 230v socket on the front panel is in a dangerous place if you had a kettle lead plugged in to it.

We have yet to get to grips with the new type TV aerial.

Please don't think we are unhappy with the Wyoming far from it, it is spacious, the L lounge is really comfortable, the bed is excellent and the shower is also superb, The end bathroom is well laid out. The workmanship seems very good and all pipes and cables a very neatly run out of site for the most part. The fridge freezer is the best we have ever had in a caravan, and the hob and oven are both very good, compare it with the equivalant van from say the Swift group and you can understand why there are lots of Senators appearing on sites now.We tow with a 3.2 diesel Shogun LWB manual and the Wyoming seems to tow very well. We haven't regretted buying the Shogun or the Wyoming. Hope this helps

Hi there,

Took delivery of our series 5 wyoming on 9th may, have used it 4 times, all seems fine, no problems so far. It is a fantastic van, well thought out with some nice touches. Yes the pump is very noisey, especially as its under my 15 year old daughters bed!!! We rally and go away about 3 x a month with 2 teenagers, so it will get a lot of use. I will keep you posted as to how it goes. We tow with a hyundai terracan and have had no problems. Mark
