Bailey shock absorbers - fitting holes.

I fitted a set of shock absorbers to my 2007 Indiana earlier this year. Following the fitting instructions I found that I could use any of the 3 pre drilled holes in the chassis to meet the required measurements for the shocks. I chose the middle hole on the van. I wondered which hole any one else used or which hole a dealer used if they fitted them.

Hi Fred and Liz, I tow the Indiana with a BMW 530 diesel estate. I wanted to fit the shock absorbers after advice from others on this forum, not because there was anything wrong with the outfit. I had not towed the van before fitting the shocks so I can't really comment on before and after experiences.

Most of the posts on fitting shocks are positive so I decided it would be
 
Hi Graeme,

I fitted the red shocks to my Swift Challenger 500se, using the hole that was furthest away from the wheel drum, going on the measurments supplied by Alko, it should be 265mm from the centre of the arm to the hole for the red shocks.

Not sure what colour shocks you used but I think you need to check your measurments with the instructions given by Alko.
