Hi All,

Re:Bailey Unicorn S2 Barcelona (2014) Leisure Battery

Without travelling to the secure storage does anyone know the size (dimensions) battery I require and the power needed to cope with a 4WD Motormover please?

Thanks

The battery box is a standard item common to the other makes and all batteries now available normally fit as if they do not they have no market. Not sure where you are buying it but those in any dealer or specialist caravan accessory retailer or Halfords should fit. Let us know what you are looking at and I think someone will know.

You won't get a sensible answer from Bailey for such a question, all they will do is advise the size of the battery box.
Your question should be directed to the motor mover manufacturer, once you know the Ah capacity they recommend you can get battery dimensions from different battery manufacturers to check against the battery box dimensions.Make sure you allow for space for battery cables above the battery.

That is an eminently sensible answer. Bailey do not make batteries so they cannot quote battery sizes only the space they provide for them.

I run with a 100Ah battery on a 4wd mover on a 1900kg van. It copes with a slightly sloping drive too. Tayna Batteries website shows the sizes and post orientation - be sure to select a battery that has the additional terminals for the mover leads

Mine came with a Lucas XV Leisure battery at 110AH! That's 1AH per 9kg of MTPLM. Presumably the previous owner planned to finish his journey on electrical power in the event that his car broke down.
