No i am not going away either, reason is my youngest is at Cub camp tonight and tomorrow so its all his fault really.

Not really worth going away Bank Holiday weekend just for two nights, particularly as most sites insist on a minimum 3 night booking.

Never mind FIM Rally in Cessenatico 1st June, can't wait

Hi folks,

We should have been heading to the north of Scotland today but both of us have been pole-axed by a really nasty cold,so have decided to stop at home for the weekend and then re-assess our plans. The joys of being retired allows us the privilege of being flexible.Hope no-one pinches the van as it is packed and ready to go )

I'm working on Bank Holiday Monday but it's double time which is nice.

To compensate though, we've just come back from a very enjoyable 3 days at Burrs Country Park.

We're not going away, too busy on the campsites. I have some garden furniture to paint. Then - no matter what the weather, I will be swimming with dogs. LOL

BBQ planned for tomorrow night plus plenty of Cava.

Brian - you forgot the adjectives such as miserable, mean, tightfisted, pushy, and untrustworthy. Sorry mate just a little joke - no offence meant sir. Regards Colin.

We try to avoid bank hols, leave them for those who are still working and don't have the freedom to go away when they like. I did go down to Kent yesterday to pick a Matra 530 for my son, and we're going up the Rhondda on Monday to look at a prospective Cairn terrier for Herself. Other than that, we'll be preparing the Royale for a club rally in Flaxpool from next wednesday till tuesday.

Nice to hear from you again Maureen, after so long. I've just replied to the petition asking for the return of Lord B to the forum and said we haven't heard from you as well for while.

Hope you're soon well again.

It doesn't rain, it pours.

I'm sure everyone on the forum wishes your wife well.

Thank you all for yout good wishes,I am sure she will be ok the type she has always has a good prognosis but as for the C-Diff it really is time they did something about our hospitals to stop these super bugs. The really worrying thing is that when ever she is admitted she always has to go into a side room on barrier nursing to avoid infection,so that works then....not.
