Hi the red handle on my outside barbeque point just seems to spin round and not do anything.

Is this right or is it a fault?

Also how do i connect my Cadac to it?Is it just two jubilee clips and a rubber hose i need or do i need a a special fitting?

The red handle will not turn on unless the gas nozzle/connector is inserted,the connect the cadac you will need this nozzle/connector and fit the hose to this secure with either jubliee clips or even better double ear clips,push hose on cadac end and secure.

Tip insert gas hose end in hot water to soften then push onto connector
 
you should have a bayonet adaptor on the end of the hose ,and below the tap on the caravan push the bayonet end in there connect the other end of your hose to the BB secured with jubilee clip ,make sure the BB is turned off then turn the red tap on the van towards the ground and it should be on ,i always turn everything off when i have finished ,to disconnect the hose turn the red tap up to horizontal and push the brass sleeve up and the hose with the bayonet will pull out
 
Thanks,so is the handle spinning around a problem or will it stop when the connector is inserted??

my handle wont turn unless the hose bayonet is pushed in , check that the handle is fixed to the spindle properly
