Iv just bought a new tap for my bathroom and I’m not sure what the best way to connect the pipes is, as now only just realised that the new tap Has different connectors.

Hi Damian
the new one is a
Comet Roma Mixer Tap Single Lever Microswitch 33mm Chrome.
the old one , the pipes went into the bottom of it

If the van is plumbed with standard red and blue hot and cold flexible pipes they should simply push onto the ends of the tails and clamped with jubilee clips.

if only it was that easy! The old pipe is about 8 to 10mm and the new one is about 15mm . I don’t want to force it in case ( me and my clumsy hands ) break it

If you have a good relationship with the place you bought it from, ask them to change the tap tails to these:

or just buy a replacement set , they do them for hot and cold and should screw in to the tap, if the ones on your new tap unscrew, and you would need 2 x 12mm John Guest straight connectors.

JG Speedfit 10-15mm on Amazon. But you do need to know what size you need, β€œ about” needs more precision otherwise you could finish up with water leaking.
