Bathroom Tap Problem

Hi, Swift Challenger 530 2022.
We're on site and the bathroom tap lever has started to stiffen up when trying to operate it.
It's still working OK other than that.
We're having to hold the spout to operate so we don't damage the seal or the sink.
As we are on site we have limited DIY facilities.
Any advice most welcome, thanks.

I suspect his isn't really going to help!
But without dismantling the tap, I doubt there is anything that can be done? I'd think it can only be, some foreign stuff that has perhaps been building up ; ( hard water area?) or lack of lubricant , if there is a Screwfix or Toolstataion nearby, you may be able to pick up tools to take a look, the last tap I fixed required a box spanner to dismantle.

If it has not been used regularly is is probably the cartridge scaled up with limescale. We have the same taps and they freely move but are used for a minimum of 7 days each month for 9 to 10 months of the year,

The cartridge are about £25 and take about 15mins and a dab of grease to fit, did mine a few weeks back.
Not worth trying to lubricate and loosen up tbf.

Not sure of that specific tap but if there is a blue/red indicator for cold hot on the tap top stem then with the plug in so you lose nothing (!) take this out behind which may be a tiny Allen screw. With this loosened (rather than removed entirely) the tap head should lift off giving you access to the hex head that holds the cartridge in place. The hot/cold/ flow is controlled by the visible square peg that you may be able to free up. Once removed look on eBay for a matching design and code to replace it. Of course not knowing this specific tap I may be entirely incorrect!

Thanks to all for the advice. We are back home with DIY facilities at the weekend, so will put up with it for now and investigate further. It should be covered by the dealers warranty, but that involves a 100 mile round trip if they repair while I wait, or 200 miles if I've got to leave the van at the dealers.
