Battery Charging

I take my battery of the van when not using it for a while and put it on my C-TEK charger in the shed. The battery is a Banner 110 ah and my question is should i take the 6 caps off to the let it vent, or should I leave them on?
 
It is always better to loosen the caps, and while doing that , just check the levels of electrolyte.
 
While loosening the cell caps is a good idea & a good time to check the elctrolite levels,Your CTEC charger will/should not overcharge your battery so gassing will/should not occur & the need to vent off is not required
