Battery not charging

The battery charger on my 2005 Bailey seems to have given up the ghost as the battery died on a recent break. I have measured the voltage which remains the same when the charger is supposedly on. The charger seems to be all in with the 'consumer unit' and is no doubt expensive. Is there anything I can look at with it before I consider replacement? If it's that expensive I may well resort to taking an external charger with me and using that every couple of days or so.

Try taking the front cover off the consumer unit. The charger is inside it at the top and receives its power via a lead which looks like one from a kettle. This often comes loose due to vibration etc when towing. Just push it back in.

make sure all the electrics are off before you do so though.
