While away last weekend the battery seem to lose power at start it read 14amps after 2 days down to7 amps what could this be.

if you are on ehu all the time i would look at the battery or charger first.

Hi Dave, I think you mean volts not amps.

I would suggest the battery wasn't fully charged to start with and of course batteries are not at their best in cold weather and any shortcomings in the battery will show up during this time.

Get a load test done at a garage.
