BBQ Gas Point Hinge Gone

Arrived on site Friday, got set up and then decided to light the BBQ. However when I lifted the flap to plug the gas hose in to the side of the caravan, I found one of the plastic hinge pins on the flap had completely gone and the other one was nearly out as well. I am struggling to find a replacement hinge pin. It looks like it is a piece of clear nylon about 2mm in diameter and about 20mm long. Has anyone managed to ever track one of these down? Its for the standard MPK box with a gas tap in it on a 2006 Abbey. I tried to look up MPK on the internet but could not find the company itself.
 
I have sorted this out now. Leisureshop direct sell the hinge with the flap. If anyone else needs one their part number is 135658.
 
If Tim's suggestion does not fit, then drill out the old one carefully and replace with either a thin plastic rod e.g. a knitting needle from HID's stock or a bit of 2mm wire - ideally stainless. Or two plastic topped stainless screwnails of the sort used to attach puPVC fascia boards etc may work.
