BBQ point

I would like to run a 3 way coolbox from the Gas BBQ point of my 2007 645 GL Bessacar. Would I have to have a regulator between the BBQ point and cooler box, or is the gas already regulated by the caravan?. Also it looks like it may need somekind of push or twist fitting as it does not look like you could just push a rubber pipe onto it.

any ideas regards

Ian

Hello Ian,

The gas pressure at the BBQ point should be regulated by the regulator in the gas bottle locker, so it should be suitable for a three way fridge, BUT You have to check that the working pressure for the fridge matches the regulator pressure.

Check the data plate on the fridge, and compare the gas pressure to the output pressure of the regulator, if they do not match you should not use them together.
