Be careful with your flaps

Just back from first trip of 24, and had a problem with the water inlet flap, I broke it when opening it, seems it was quite brittle where it was cold, so off I go to get mugged by the local dealer because it wasn't the flap that had broken it was the inlet fitting, fortunately it does not have any electric contacts. Strangely the flap on its own would have been more expensive to buy than the whole inlet, so that will be the job before we go away again. In the meantime I checked all the other similar flaps, and used silicon spray on the hinge joins and was surprised what a difference it made. Also think I passed GaryB going the other way in Cirencester on Good Friday with his shiny new Sprite
