Beach Flag Colours???

This may sound like a still one, but can anyone tell me what the difference is between a Blue flag and a Yellow flag,as we are look at two sites one with a yellow and one blue flag beach?

steve, Yellowflag is given by' Tidy Britain Group', I am unsure of the criteria for deseving one but it may have to do with tidiness etc. Blue flag is given by the EU on water quality considerations.

Thanks for that, I think I'll go with the British Group, more trust in them than in the EU!! Steve

.. and don't forget that what ever the quality of the water shown by the flag, fishes still make love in it.
