When we got our first van we used a normal double flat sheet but then bought a sheet called Easymayd (think the spelling is right) which was like two sheets stitched together around the bottom.

Last year we changed our van for one with a fixed bed and bought a fitted sheet from Jonic who advertise in the magazine. It moved around from day one and "bobbled" so we abandoned it after a few uses. Then I spotted an ad from Cara-Couture in the mag, e-mailed them, had a chat on the phone to the owner and ordered a fitted sheet which is much better than the first as there is a decent amount of material under the matress.

Otherwise buy a flat Extra King Size sheet. Hope this helps.

If your meaning a bed made up from the seating area we use a thin kingsize covered quilt which is good as you don't feel any of the lines form the cushion pads underneath you.For the fixed bed we use a double fitted sheet that works fine.Happy caravanning !!!!

Hi Nicky from Jonic here.

Country lass, I am sorry to hear that your fitted sheet was not up to standard. We listen to all comments about our products, good and bad, but can not resolve problems if we are not aware of them. When it became apparent that there was a problem with a bad batch of fabric last year we changed suppliers and this has since resolved the problem. We are also happy to make sheets deeper (at no extra charge) to ensure a perfect fit.

Take care

Nicky

If I want sheets and a duvet, I'll stay in a hotel.

Many old hands still use sleeping bags, they've been available as doubles since WW2 - with one thin and one thick they'll cope with both winter and summer extremes - I particularly like the lack of draughts in winter.

We are more than happy with our Jonic extra depth mattress protector, pillow protectors and extra depth fitted sheet - all made to accommodate our mattress topper. No sleeping bags for us thank you.
