Beechwood Grange Caravan Club Site

Hi Thinking About booking this site for Easter next year, Had any one been to this site Good or bad? Can you walk in to the town from the site and walk by the river for the dogs any info would be helpfull, Thanks Trevor

We went last year as we were going to a concert in York.We originally wanted to go to Rowntree Park as this is very handy for the City centre, however it was flooded so we went to Beechwood instead, this is about 3 miles from the centre, and we had to drive in for the show.

Its a lovely site but a bit isolated, has a good dog walk not by the river though.

we loved this site very flat and has horses in the fields up both sides of the driveway into site, kids loved to go a bike run in evening to feed the horses so kept us out the road of the caravans. if you dont want to use the car once on holiday then this site is not for you but we didnt mind and had a great day out at Scarbrough.

Hi Trevor, We went to Beechwood for a week in August. Nice site especially if you like out of town shopping. Easy to get to York, we took the car and found it not too bad to park. Only drawback with a dog is that they cannot be walked down the drive or even carried. They do have a large field to exercise the dog though! I am sure you will enjoy it !

hi trevor, we have stayed at beechwood grange and thought it was lovely. very clean well kept and lovely wardens. you can't walk into to town but park and ride is about a mile away and takes you right into town. the park ahs a large field for walking the dogs.

Hi Trevor, we went to Beechwood in October 07, it is very easy to get to off the A64, lovely site, nice showers, friendly wardens. We took the car to the park and ride

Hi Trevor, we have just come back from Beechwood Grange and thought it a lovely site. Bit of road noise, but there aren't any leaves on trees! Excellent facilties, friendly wardens. Nice pitches, didn't feel cramped and best of all really easy drive to the site! Great park and ride and very easy to travel by car from here to all sorts of places. Would definitely go back, Ian
