When I was there last year it was full.

Only pitch 53 was available to me. I had to pitch my Wyoming side on with five pieces of timber under the wheels to bring her level. It was a hell of a drop out of the door and we had to be very careful. There was no room for the awning so I wasn't best pleased.

As far as I could see the pitches in general were less deep and wide as most CC sites. If you have a Pageant Monarch or similar say 21' you'll have no problem. I guess I was a bit unlucky. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the setting , good clean facilities.

We did 3 nights in Berwick and 3 nights in Edinburgh last November and it was a great combination just a nice distance apart. The views from the C.C. site at Spittal are excellent and the site in Edinburgh is a fabulous location for the city centre plus great walks etc. Enjoy your hols.
