best caravan insurance ?

About to renew my caravan insurance with Caravanguard, but before I renew, (seven years now without any claim), is this the best company to be with. I am not too worried about spending a few pounds more but need to check that I have the best service if I need to claim. Thanks Tony

We are with the Caravan Club and have been for several years. Why not try and get 'online' quotation(s) and see which company offers you the best cover/value for your money. You can also check if you are getting more/less for your payments before taking the plunge.

The very best Insurance Co. is the one that pays you out promptly for an incident to which you are covered.

I know that sounds ridiculouse but I see Insurance as a form of betting.

I'm betting the Insurance Co hoping that I will not have a claim and they're taking my bet and hoping I'm right.

The Co. that does the same bet for the cheapest price usually gets my business.

Hi i went with caravan wise the deal they did for me i was more than happy with dont know what they are like if you make a claim touch wood i wont have to make one,but then again no one knows what they are like till they have to make a claim

I am with the N.F.U and I have claimed for a total loss on a new for old policy and had a new van on my drive in just ten days,and all done on the phone/camera.They were brilliant,its true you get what you pay for but they were not the most expensive.Unfortunately you cannot put a negative report on an insurance comp which are more than lacking in the service they provide on this forum,I am glad to recomend the NFU for the excellent service they have provided for me.
