Hi,

I am looking at exchanging my 1 year old Coachman Amara 5 Birth for a new Amara 6 Berth. I have been advised that a Caravan show would be the best place to secure a good deal, just wondered if anyone has any experience of buying at shows. Also which show is best ?.....I was thinking of going to "The Lawns" show in Hull at the weekend, but would the October show at the NEC be a better bet ?

Your opinion would be appreciated.

My husband and I are looking for our first family caravan, having used a Pennine Sterling folding camper for 4/5 years. We have visited 5 or 6 dealers and are beginning to narrow down our choice in the face of what seems like a bewildering array of models. We think we want either a double dinette version or fixed bunks, single axle and a top weight of approx 1525kg. We have two sons aged 5+15 and wqnt ot spend a maximum of 15k. Any comments please.
