Follow the signs for Bilbao, You then pick up the signs for Torrelavega, Nearing Torrelavega you pick the signs for Palencia, After 50 miles come off onto the N-627 heading for Burgos, Reaching Burgos you can either go round on the new by pass or go straight through either way you will pick the signs up for Madrid, All toll free. Hope this helps.

Great, You have about 2.5mls of city traffic on local roads from the ferry terminal to the split for Bilbao/Torrelavega then its all dual carriageway/motorway all the way till you come off the A67 @ jct 103 then its a single road for about the best part of 50 mls into Burgos but its a very good fast road passing through small villages, I sometimes go over the mountain on the N623 from Santander to Burgos it saves about 20 mls but the scenery is so beautiful.

Greetings,

The trip from Pico de Miel to La Manga is not hard work. Its certainly longer than your average days drive in the UK but the lack of traffic and good road more than make up for it.
