Best route please

I have to go to Withenshaw tomorrow from Durham.

The google maps tell me to do A1 M62 and i think its anti clockwise round manchester, the location is just of the M56.

Used to do that run in a wagon years ago but cannot remember the best way to go.

It's solo, to collect our new dog ( don't ask )

John

Hi John,

That's the way I would go from Bishop Auckland.

Know you said dont ask, but .......come on, what type of dog? We have 3 x border collies & have friends who have travelled much further to get the dog they wanted - Seaham to Hampshire

Cheers,

JimD

We live down here in Greater Manchester. Don't get confused when the M62 changes to the M60 when in the Manchester area. Just carry on and then follow the signs for the M56(and airport)

We went up to Hexham for a little Bichon many years ago.She was well worth the long trip. She lived with us happily for 18 years. Have fun with your new puppy!(or dog)

Our Boxer died 4 days before christmas and the wife just cannot do without, so rather than pay
