Best route to Broadlands (Gt Yarmouth)

Hi all, i have looked at several route planners for the best route from Nottingham to Broadlands cc site on the Broads.

The route ranges from 154 miles to 136 miles, unsure whether to go through Grantham or not, because of traffic.

Any ideas as to the best route?

Thanks for any help, Andrew.

Hi Andrew

We went to Broadlands 2 years ago and I had similar results from route finders. Some taking you north of the county and then back south to Broadlands.Another route was down the M1 and then east along the A14 which was miles further.

I started at Kings Newton Derbyshire and went on the A52 through Grantham and then on the A47 turning off at Acle as the Caravan Club hand book route.Leave Acle on the A1064 then fork left onto the B1152 then onto the A149 finally turning off at PotterHeigham on the A1062.

Its a brilliant site we had an excellent holiday, we will go again sometime.

Regards Jim

Hi Jim, thanks for the help, i will go through Grantham, (thats the way i fancied) and it also appears to be the shortest route, thanks again,Andrew.
