Best time to buy at NEC???

Hi, Anybody know if there is/isnt a better time to visit NEC for caravan show if buying a van??, just wondering if they have better deals towards then end of the show???

If it is true that caravan sales are high this year, there may not be the glut of stock of unsold vans around that there was last year. This could perhaps reduce the chances of doing a deal so to speak.

If NEC sales are strong then if you buy at the end of the show you could be saddled with a very long lead time for your new van.

Thanks Zafiral, having never been to the show before, do they have a stock of used vans?? or is it a signpost to a dealer?, we will be cash buyers not finance, in the market for a used 6 berth van

We recently purchased a new cvan.

Went to the NEC last year had salesmen following us round for the order, each one trying to beat the last.

Advice, do your homework, know what you want and try not to be put off too much.

By the way, our recent purchase was from an independant dealership. We saved over

emma is correct find the van you want. print off the dealers list then haggle and barter. play one off agaist the other.

Emma and Jo-Anne are correct we done exactly as they have said we played 2 dealers of one against the other and saved 4 thousand pounds imo it is well worth doing your homework first.
