Best way to Spring Clean the 'Van

Being fairly new (about a year) to caravanning, I would appreciate some advice on the nest way to spring clean the Van, like the surfaces, cooker and washroom and such.

Its so easy to get confused with the array of products and the stern warnings not to use standard household products (like Flash, Cif etc) and so far I have just used hot soapy water, but after leaving the van for a few months we went back the other week and all the surfaces had begun to grow mould on them, like I must have missed some or something...

I assume that there are specific caravan cleaning products I can use, Which is best? do I really need to use them as opposed to a pack of Flash surface wipes or similar?

Any help much appreciated!

We generally use flash anti bacterial wipes for all surfaces, kitchen and bathroom. for the windows i use a damp sponge then buff with a very soft duster.

the flash wipes are great on the toilet and seat, we do have some caravan bathroom cleaner too but much prefer the wipes for ease. the bathroom cleaner gets used at the start and end of the season.

Like MikeAce, I use the Flash wipes for the surfaces etc. I find they are really good for cleaning the cooker too.

I have a pack of Parazone loo wipes, they are very good, and Pledge dusting cloths. I fine they are ideal, you can keep them in the 'van, they don't take as much space as bottles and tins.

I usually give the 'van a jolly good clean inside, maybe a couple of times a year, and use a small steam cleaner for loo, shower and kitchen area. It gets rid of all water marks, just needs buffing with a dry cloth.
