........ye old bike halfway up a mountain track in the Tejada y Almijara near Nerja Spain.
....beleive it or not 2 kms further up is a rural cafe / restaurant much frequented by walkers and nutter cyclists :huh:

Not much lube on that chain and cogs, Gafferbill, I think you need some dry lube on those bits mate. Hope the brakes work on the way down. . Envey you though.

No no........it has a Chris Boardman non lube chain and sprocket set! :dry:

got the old bike out this morning after a few months off with a knackered knee......



didn't realise how unfit I had got.....but the climb was into a biting easterly wind....worth it though





not seen our 'res' this full for a few years....still be a hosepipe ban though....

Well my bike is still in shed gathering dust I'm still waiting on hubby buying his as hes not sure if he wants an electric one or plain old pedal power that mine is. I thought well the ebike would be good idea I could hitch a rope and he could pull me from behinD he wasn't impressed that's when he said he just might not get one..spoil sport.

Now we can go off with the caravan and enjoy cycling with our dog (Lurcher) so getting ready for our holiday in June/July cycling around the Mossell Valley Germany.

With a dog as big as a lurcher shouldn't the harness be in front of the bike so it can pull you rather than it being towed behind? ;)

Hey...love the dog trailer my daughter in law has one she puts her small 6yr old in to go shopping.
Then i have a 2 person tent for our American Bull dog Brian..mixed up or what!
