Black and grey plugs

I want to change the plugs on my van (7 pin) and also the sockets on my towbar, but I am not someone who is very conversant with electrics.
Obviously I change plugs at home and 110v plugs on tools at work but that's about it. Should I get a sparky or have a go myself.
The reason I want to change them is because 1 indicator sometimes doesn't work due to a dodgy connection.

Just changed my black and grey plugs for a 13 pin but its basically the same very straight forward, just copy the lengths of the wires and make sure there are no stray strands that might short out.Its pretty easy ,give it a go

If your a member of the Caravan club there is a wireing diagram in theyear book, with wire colour code to corrispond with the numbers on the plugs and sockets.

Have a look at this link below for 13pin wiring instructions & then print it off

I laminated a copy & keep it in the van just in case of a mishap
