Im looking at visiting the Blackforest for a week in August,I have two 14 yr olds and a 11yr old, an outdoor swimming pool on or near the campground would be nice.

Any reccomendations
 
Know of two very good sites in the Black Forest the first one is in the center of the Black Forest Alisehof at Bad Rippoldsau near to the charming little town of Wolfach. The web site address is www.camping-online.net it is a 5 star site and we think excellent. Toilet and Shower blocks 5 star too. But alas no swimming pool. The other site is southern Black Forest Terrassencamping Herbolzheim 4 star and very good has a swimming pool next door which looks very nice. Website www.laue-camp.de Good toilet facilities.

A popular site is Camping Belchenblick at Staufen im Breisgau but its quite expensive and some of the pitches are not very generous. We have stayed at the Herbolzheim one mentioned by Dianne and liked it a lot. There is a Theme Park called Europa Park about 5 miles from Herbolzheim.For pictures and site reports see links below.
