Black Horse Farm site

hi

Its a nice site, usual cc standards, very busy site with others coming and going at all hours, thats mainly in the pitches allocated to ferrys, there is a small newsagent/general stores over the road from site and a pub 2 mins walk from site, we use this site everytime we have a ferry booked from dover, it breaks the journey up.

Hope this helps

We stay every time we do Dover Calais. Excellent ferry site. all usual CC standards. Ferry bit is all hardstanding and is on top bit of site so you don't go thru the barrier and disturb those in bottom section. Pub is excellent but better to book a meal. When you book be sure to state your ferry time as the wardens do try to allocate the pitches to try and cause least disturbance to others. i.e. earliest out is nearest the exit

I would agree with Simon and David its a very good campsite, likely the best in the area. We have stayed a couple of times. Its very handy for Eurotunnel but Dover is a few miles further on.

Excellent site shame its just for a night we had four nights there and a daytrip to France pub is excellent.Site is spotless and has a drying room which is useful at the moment
