Black painted towball.

Have new towbar on car, and that darned black painted towball. So come on, what the secret of the best way to get the paint off. πŸ˜‰
Clean suggestions only if you please and no references to Eskimo Nell

The one on the right was cleaned as per Sir sprockets link, it is not an Alko tow ball the one on the left is!!!
Why did I clean the non Alko one? well when I bought the truck the tow bar was there with no ball, I asked the dealer to supply alko one and that is what he fitted, I realised after I cleaned it!! πŸ™

All good ideas, will have a go with the wire wool as I already have some. Not so sure about the elbow grease, I think I ran out of that..........................about twenty years ago. πŸ™

My first demountable bar, so far Im very impressed. Always used fixed flange before but on the Shogun with back door open, the flange type attack the shins with relish.

The paint is easy to remove, I think it may be a water based type and it comes off in no time with a bit wire wool or fine grade wet & dry πŸ˜‰
