Just been for a week

Good site up to usual CC standard.

Nice pub down the road.

Leek quite interesting Coop on the road from the site for any essentials.

Great walks around the peaks and roaches, not far from cycle trails. Car remained idle apart from a drive to a walk.

Leaflets covering all the walking areas ie Goyt Valley, Hartington,Roaches and more all containing 6 walks, good value at £1.80

Can highly recommend

Hello Mike. We was there a couple of months ago and like you were very impressed, lots of walking especially round the reservoir which is not to far away and we used the pub a few times as well. Not highly impressed with Leek itself, looked a bit run down to me but the surrounding areas were nice. Its the first time Ive been to the peak district and we're definately going again, maybe Grin Low the next time.
