Blackshaw Moor

There is plenty to see and do in the area. The Roaches, Buxton, Leek, Hartington, The Manifold Valley, Beresford Dale, Tissington Trail, etc. I'm sure the site wardens will give you plenty of advice.
 
I agree with eveything said so far, can only add there is a great pub 1 mile further down the road that does really good food and its cheap.
 
There is also a pub up on the Morridge called the Mermaid with super views. I haven't been there for a number of years now so cannot comment on the food.
 
If you leave the site towards Buxton and call in at the excellent Winkingman Pub you can get a good meal and friendly hospitality and mention my name and the landlord Pete will sort you a free drink
