Hi...my first post on this newly discovered and great site! Does anyone know where to buy the blind material used on 'vans? The flyscreen netting seems to be readily available at most accessory shops but not so the blind stuff. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Sarumboy.
 
Hi,

I am assuming from your post you only want to buy the material and not the full cassette. I have never seen the material for sale in any caravan accessory outlet but would suggest the following as possible ways of sourcing material.

Email your caravan manufacturer and ask where they purchase the material or if they would be willing to supply you direct. They may buy in the blinds already made up in cassettes from another supplier and in this case you could ask for their contact details and try them.

Try some of the companies that supply household roller blinds e,g Hillarys. They may have suitable material and be prepared to sell material only rather than complete blinds.

Hi Sorry I can't help with material for blinds, but I am interested in where to buy the netting to renew my fly screen door it has been caught with something and we now have a small hole,has anyone renewed this screen if so how do you do it? thanks in anticipation
 
Thank you for your suggestions folks, I'll certainly follow up your ideas Rob-t and Kathryn. Shiba, both my local accessory shops sell it in 1m x 1m squares. and I think they get their supplies from a company called 'W4 Ltd' of Arundel who also supply it in 1.5m x 1m, 2m x 1m and I think 30m x 1m rolls! Hope that helps.
