Blocked drain

On both of my previous two caravans and my present one, the waste pipes have been screwed to the bottom of the floor and then pass through the Chassis , giving the pipes a small U bend, in the run, slowing down the waste run.
 
A word of warning, I thought that a kettle of boiling water would be a good idea to improve the flow from the wash hand basin. In doing so it caused the connecting pipe work to collapse and destroy the fitting that was part of the basin. Had it not been for the skill of my caravan engineer in rebuilding the drain and fitting it would have been a new wash hand basin at an eye watering cost of £190.00. I recently improved the flow on sink, shower and wash hand basin with Tesco drain unblocked very successfully.
