blowing fuses on water pump....

Hi Folks,

Just been on our first caravanning weekend as a family. Fantastic fun! A few snags though... We kept blowin fuses for the water pump, which, at one point, seized completely. The pump continued to run after I freed it up but kept blowing fuses, with varying levels of delivery. I'd be really interested in others thoughts...

Hi Damian, thanks for swift reply. Yup, kind of figured this would be the solution, but needed some confirmation from some 'old sweats'! Pump currently being sourced...

I had this problem last year new pump solved it.

New pump fitted. So far so good....

if not used to often you can got lime scale biuld up witch can jam the pump.

I have seen literally hundreds of caravan pumps, and I have never seen one jammed by lime scale.
