Any users out there?

just purchased an Easiporch, did not realize til I took it out of the bag that the side poles go on the outside. Saw a www pic that confirmed this.

However there is a "spare" extendable bar with a flat plastic "piece" at each end, is the easiest way to describe.

what is this ? veranda bar or similar. Might see more where it goes if I actually had awning up rather than on the patio!!!

I think it as used sideways across the roof halfway between the 'van and the front to keep the roof taught so preventing puddles whet it rains.

I've also just purchased one but not used it yet. Do the ends of the poles go into the ground? Mine came without any stoppers or anything to stop stones or soil going up into them.
