BMW 3 series 2.0 diesel

We are considering a BMW 3 series diesel as our next towcar(probably a 2001 or 2002 model). Our van has a MTPLM of 1300 KG. Has anyone got any comments good or bad.

I bought the 320d touring from new in 2003.

There are more roomy estates, but few that are as much fun to drive (yes, its a diesel!). Very responsive and, gives over 55mpg on trips and towing, gives between 30-34mpg.

Not sure which one you will go for, but the estate is around 1580kg, so towing 1300 is well within the 85% match. For a guide to weights, try http://www.clicreports.co.uk/

mine will be for sale, but not until its 5 years old as free servicing was included in the price (or up to 100k miles) as I understand it is for all new BMW diesels.
