Having seen my caravan on the drive this week, my next door neighbour has decided that he may wish to take the plunge into caravanning. Unfortunately, he no longer has his car's info book. Could someone please help? Does anyone know the manufacturers towing limits for a 1994 BMW 316?

I tow with a BMW 318i

The owners handbook includes data for 316i

The Unladen weight for 316i is 1310 Kg.

It is the same on my 318i which I have used to tow a Elddis Hurricane for about four years and would definitely recommend the BMW as a towcar.
