BMW M Adaptive Suspension - Any good vs Audi

Hi all, I've currently got an Audi SQ5 Vorsprung with the variable suspension settings which includes air self-levelling suspension. I'm looking at purchasing a BMW X3 M40D which comes with M Adaptive Suspension. From the desktop research I've done, the BMW suspension is not air / self-levelling, but I've read it's still very good for towing. I tow a big twin axle van, does anyone have any experience of both set-ups and can let me know of pros and cons? I've read the Practical Caravan review of the BMW and it's very good, but I worry about not having self-levelling on the BMW (not that I tow above the nose weight of course!), but it does make it nice and stable. Thanks in advance for any advice :)

I‘ve got an X4 (an X3 only in a different guise), obviously also without self-levelling suspension, and I’ve never missed it. I‘ve always maintained that the manufacturer will have designed the suspension to cope with the maximum permissible rear axle load that he has specified. As the rear axle load limit may not be exceeded when the noseweight of the caravan is applied, that condition will already be taken into account.

ps. I tow an 1800kg single axle.
