hi all.we have a 2004 elddis firestorm 505 and have just bought an x3 2.0d sport.have,nt yet had towbar fitted.i know car will do the job but has anyone had any experience towing with these.
 
My wifes colleague and her husband tow a quite large RIB (boat) on a Twin axle trailer with one. They get very good fuel (30 MPG plus on long Runs to France) consumption and the 4 x 4 is fine on slippery slip ways and beaches.
