Bolon groundsheets

Hello,

I am considering Isabella Bolon Bohuslan groundsheets for my awnings. I am planning to buy a length that will cover both of my awnings and then trim it to make two.

Can the Bolon material be cut in both directions with fraying? Also, what is the best way to peg them? With 'Holdon' eyelets?

Many thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

We use ours for a combi and the fullsize awning as well, I bought a metre too much to give an overlap.

Regarding cutting, you can do this but make sure you follow the same line all the way or it will fray.

We don't peg ours at all as I always put a plastic groundsheet underneath anyway so don't need it. (Tried it once without but ended up with damp coming through the floor even though it hadn't rained, so decided that it defeated the object of putting flooring down!)

surely the idea of using the bolon is because its breathable thats why water can come through it, but it dries very quickly, putting plstic sheeting under it will kill the grass. The sites wont allow us to use ground sheets
