There’s a reason why photographic evidence doesn’t exist 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Nice pictures but two things missing from your visit………
Dickinson and Morris pork pie, and a portion of Long Clawson Stilton, both of which bring family connections to memory.

Yes it is.Steve is your kia 2.0l
Yes it is, I have the 2.0l gt line and love it.Yes it is.
Currently waiting for a quote for a new slave cylinder and clutch…..😱
It’s a smashing car though.
Ours is the KX4… currently at 80k miles and has been faultless until the current issue.Yes it is, I have the 2.0l gt line and love it.
My granddaughter is looking to change her 2013 Peugeot and has been put off later 208s with the Puretech wet belt engine. So last night we discussed other makes as I tried to persuade her to consider reliability. I told her that we had owned Kia’s for 14 years with a Sorento Mk1, Rio, and XCeed. In that time I’d only had one warranty claim. That was to replace the drivers seat height adjuster in the Rio. The Rio is now 9 years old and still on OEM battery and exhaust. Still as tight as a drum and very economical.Ours is the KX4… currently at 80k miles and has been faultless until the current issue.
I had a Kia Sedona 2.9 turbo diesel new in 2002 and ran that for 14 years…. 228k miles when I sold it, still on original exhaust, clutch, gearbox.
Had one wheel bearing and the alternator replaced, that was all.
Not in Europe, but I believe they do in Australia.Do kia still do a2.0l diesel engine 🤔
Australia is still at Euro 5 regulations - Euro 6 isn't mandatory there until July 2028Not in Europe, but I believe they do in Australia.
Are you sure you want to stop again - it's only about 1:45 from Norton Canes to Jct 32 - as long as you're not in rush hour. Now we’ve got our destinations planned,
Can I have some recommendations for best services to stop at on the M6 northbound for our trip to Bridge House Marina near Garstang.
We will be stopping at Norton Canes services on the M6 toll road so will be looking at somewhere halfway between there and junction 32 which is the M55.
Thanks.
Good shout - it’s really a back up plan incase our dog Lily needs a loo break. Are you sure you want to stop again - it's only about 1:45 from Norton Canes to Jct 32 - as long as you're not in rush hour.
Half way is about Knutsford Services but that's small and cramped as it was one of the first in the UK and HGVs are diverted to Lymm Truckstop so not a lot of space with a caravan.
Crikey her bladder must be worse than mine.Good shout - it’s really a back up plan incase our dog Lily needs a loo break.
Good recommendation, thanks very muchCrikey her bladder must be worse than mine.
Seriously though I understand your concern. Not too far beyond the M6 Toll services is the M6 Stafford services. 30 minutes. Much better than Knutsford with a dedicated array of caravan/mh bays separate from the main parking areas. Grassy areas around it for walking a dog. If the bays were full the HGV area is a reasonable fall back as not far away near the main car parking are large grassy areas with benches. Stafford was always our preferred north stop when heading to Lakes, Scotland etc. Might be an alternative to the M6 Toll services
If you look on Google earth you will see the caravan bays. If they should be full there is a Go Around to HGVs. All the times we have used Stafford we have always found a caravan bay, but we stop early and not over lunchtime, and they are too far to the main building for WVM to walk.Good recommendation, thanks very much
Norton Canes is about 2 hrs from home, we go across country to Warwick and join the M40 there to head north.
Captain Chaos.
