Brake Rod Bracket

My lad has a two year old dealer special based on the mid washroom Swift four birth.
The bracket holding the brake rod that supports the brake rod has dropped off and it appears there is nothing to fix it back too, even a temp fix. As it is the the rod is bowing as he brakes then straightening, putting brakes on suddenly.

What is the new floor sandwich made of, seems it's a plastic sheet glued directly to the foam. No reinforced area to screw into. After all it should be the easiest of fixes.

Any ideas even for a temp fix, enough for a smoothest ride to the dealers.

The floor will be wood free so I can see no problem with drilling into it but possibly a word with the dealer might be a good idea. Not sure how big a problem towing it there or them coming out would be, but it should be covered under the guarantee and the CPA..

Ours came off within the first 12 months too (Swift).
As we live a way from the dealer I sorted it myself and got the dealer to check it out at the first service.
The issue with ours was the screws had been over tightened in the floor and just fell out, easily sortedtbh.
