Bristol Balloon Festival

Does anybody know of any campsites near to the site used for the balloon festival, preferably one from which we can walk rather than having to use the car. Many thanks.

I know that the Caravan & Camping Club Bristol DA (District Association), holds a ralley during the Ballon Fiesta, this may be a good starting pints

You could also try:

Baltic Wharf Caravan Club Site

Not far from the fiesta site and you may think it's walkable from there. Parking is always a problem and one of the reasons we stopped going.

I had heard of this parking problem so we have booked with the C & C Club which is within walking distance to the site. Thanks for your reply.

Chrissylizzie, there is a camping site right outside opposite the gates from Ashton. Stayed on there last year and had no problems. Cheeper than the C+CC and nearer, Bazz.
