Hi Mark, been to Broadlands many times, one of our favourites. The site is level with mostly hardstanding pitches, about 18 grass I think. There is a large play area and a boules pitch. The toilet block was revamped a couple of years ago so is up to the usual CC standard. New wardens there this year, havn't met them so cant comment. 200yds from the site is the river, boatyard, small shop and cafe. (If your an Eastenders fan it was filmed here about 13 years ago when they went on a broads holiday) Boats can be hired or boat trips taken from the boatyard. 200yds the other direction is a pub, have heard conflicting reports about this one so its down to you. Your about 15 miles from Great Yarmouth and 25 miles from Cromer, and there are lots of small vilages in between with lovley beaches, espeacially Sea Palling and Winterton. Anything else you want to know just ask.
