Broken handle on Thetford 250 manual toilet

I managed to break off the handle off the Thetford C250 toilet by yanking it upwards, not sideways (!)
Has this happened to anyone else and can anyone offer some advice about how to get it fixed?

Which handle do you refer to?

Its underneath the bowl, to the right hand side. It operates the opening to the cassette.

You will need to get a Thetford Approved service agent to replace it.
