Broken Whale tap? DON'T replace!

Hi

Recently the cold tap knob broke off the Whale mixer tap in our washroom. like a good boy i bought a new tap & fitted it {£45}.

Last week whilst away in the 'van the kitchen tap broke too! We visited a little caravn dealer near Church Stretton & after almost buying a new tap we saw that they sold replacement tap knobs complete with the spline bit that breaks for £4 each, I got a pair as they are the newer style but fit perfectly.

I hope this saves someone some money!

Yes, the bits are hard to get, we had to buy a new one at one time for the same reason. Later we found that our little local accessory shop sold just the Splines for about 50p each, so we carried a few spares after that.
