HI ALL, SECOND TIME AWAY IN OUR BUCCANEER ARGOSY, CAN ANYONE SHED ANY LIGHT ON A SWITCH WITH A SMALL GREEN LIGHT ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OFTHE DOOR, WE HAVE WORKED OUT ALL THE OTHER LIGHT SWITCHES APART FROM THIS ONE! KIND REGARDS ANDREW & SALLY.

Just to avoid future problems never post in capitals as that is considered to be shouting.
As for the light my guess is it is the battery charge indicator it will be green until the battery gets low on charge or for example if you switch on a tap it may go red as the tap takes an initial big hit on the battery.
 
Just a suggestion yours maybe the same, I have an avondale, I have a switch next to the door which lights red when on, this switches on the awning light, the red light presumably shows it is on from the inside if you for get to switch it off.
When I first got the Van the bulb had gone but the red light still comes on.
