Buccaneer awning light

I have recently purchased a Buccaneer Elan 2000 model. The awning light does not work. Bulb and wiring checked back to fuse boared in top cupboared. No power across fuse. All other fuses check out ok. Has anyone got a wiring diagram to show where to go to next. Or a any suggestions.

Further to my problem with the awning light I should have mentioned it has a remote control for the awning light and that doesnot work either.

If you go onto the Explorer website and select Buccaneer Caravans there is a section where you can download handbooks. It only goes back to 2003 but if you look at that years Buccaneer one there is a wiring diagram for an elan that shows the awning light linked up to the alarm with a remote. It is very similar to the current model, so they do not appear to have changed that much.Hope this helps, you do not realise how much you use an awning light till it stops working, especially when you spill toilet fluid down your leg!!

Fault traced out and found to be caravan alarm system. Unit sent to Keen Electronics, who fixed it and sent it back by return post. Excellant service. We now have a working awning light.
