Buccaneer Schooner / Crusader Awning Light Switchs

I have recently purchased a 2011 Schooner and have query with regards to the 12v awning light switches.
I know that the top switch controls the awning light, its the switch below which I have the question about, when switched on 2 small LED lights in the awning light illuminate and also a blue light, after about 2 mins they all go out and nothing else apppears to happen.
I thought it was some sort of motion sensor but that was not the case.
The handbook is of no help, could any one enlighten me as to what this switch does.
It maybe similar on a Crusader.

I purchased a new Schooner too.
At least yours worked mine didnt, when i looked at the wiring the light wasnt wired in with no feed available either !!!
From what i understand the 2 small led's and the blue one should be light sensitive ie come on when dark but that doesnt seem to be the case..
I have now wired my leds to come on with the main awning light like guide me home lights and they now stay on.
