burford caravan club site, cotswolds

We went to Burford last year, it is a nice site & is directly opposite the entrance to the Cotswolds wildlife park which is worth a visit - a good day out. The site is up to the usual CC standard, the only downside if you can call it that is that you need to use the car to go into Burford itself or anywhere else come to that. Burford is a nice town too. Witney has a Sainsburys & a Tesco supermarket plus a caravan & camping accessory shop & is also a nice town.

Hi

As Impy says usual CC standard you won't be disappointed.

If you go to the wildlife park it is within walking distance, don't do what we did. We arrived late and it was dark, because we were concentrating on looking out for the turning to the site we failed to notice the entrance to the wildlife park. Next morning we piled into the car drove a hundred metres to the main road, crossed the main road, and drove another hundred metres to the park. Boy did we feel a right pair of $*&%'s.

You might get a bit of good plane spotting from near by Brize Norton (unless they are all busy out east)
